I started in the Travel Industry creating the travel blog www.thechicatravelista.com , the growth of the blog led many travelers contacting me for travel planning advice.. soon it became an obvious next step to become a Travel Consultant and thus “Travelista Travels” was born. Through our agencies partnership with top Travel Suppliers and Hotels – we are able to give our clients both the individual attention of a boutique agency and the VIP exclusive amenities brought by the biggest names in travel. After I took a 3-month solo trip to Europe, I became an advocate for the transformative power of travel. I truly believe travel is an opportunity for growth, understanding, and connection. I have been a Travel Consultant for 17 years and an avid traveler long before I was lucky enough to have a career helping others make their travel dreams come true.
I travel with my family and friends extensively throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. Internationally I have visited Portugal, Spain, London and my family’s native land Greece. I specialize in All inclusive vacations. I am Sandals Certified and a Master agent for AMR resorts (part of the world of Hyatt).
I also specialize in Cruises and Tours (certified in Cunard and Viking).

My name is Kellye. I love to travel and have been the go to person for family and friends when it’s time to schedule getaways. Taking care of the details has always been something I enjoy, so making the move to becoming a Travel Advisor, just over 3 and a half years ago, just made sense. Visiting different destinations and immersing myself into the culture (foreign or domestic) is exhilarating and creates memories that last a lifetime. This also affords me real world experience to share with you!

My genuine passion and excitement for travel started as a child when my father would share stories about his worldly travels during his time in the Navy. He served in the 1960’s during peace time between the Korean and Vietnam wars. He visited destinations far and wide, all across the world, and I wanted to see them all. Fast forward to my college years as an undergraduate student and a short study abroad (in both Lake Cuomo, Italy and Zurich, Switzerland), and it was at that point where I made the decision to commit myself to becoming a lifelong travel aficionado.
I believe that travel encourages you to explore the outside world while simultaneously inspiring discovery of the world within yourself! It is my pleasure to curate adventures and experiences designed specifically for my clients. My focus is always on their individual needs and desired experiences.
With an extensive background in music curation for high end weddings, as well as event planning roles producing everything from illustrious galas to corporate retreats, I am well suited in bringing life’s most tender and intimate moments to fruition. I have both a natural affinity for building relationships and the needed attention to detail for planning anything that fits one’s bucket list (i.e. destination wedding, honeymoon, group travel, and so on).
